Story
At the 1952 Helsinki Olympics (Summer Olympics) In the 1952 Helsinki Olympics (Summer Olympics), the Indian football team is defeated by a large margin to Yugoslavia and as a result of this, news media start ridiculing our athletes. Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim (Ajay Devgn) gives the reasons behind losing at the Football Federation of India, and he says the team needs a fresh set of players. S.A. Rahim scouts for fresh blood across the country, starting with his hometown of Hyderabad. The remainder of the movie shows the story of Rahim’s life and the hurdles he must overcome throughout his journey.
